# Attachment appearance and care changes

## Appearance and planned arrangements

 

The AAO's 2024 consent template describes tooth\-coloured attachments as discreet, not invisible\. They may be on front teeth, and arrangements may change during treatment\. Teeth, attachments and trays can stain\.

 

## Read a reported change

 

“The attachment changed colour” reports appearance of the bonded feature, not a planned addition or removal\. That observation establishes neither cause nor a whitening need\.

 

For a current\-treatment concern, use your treating team's established contact route\. A general new\-patient request is not clinical support\.
